Canon 600d usb recognize - Canon EOS 600D Rebel T3i Digital Camera

When I connect my camera tot my macbook with the USB-cable, it's not recognized as a harddrive. I can't select, copy and paste my photos or videos in the Finder. I have to use Eos Utility software to transfer my photos and videos....

Make sure your camera is turned on, also if the camera came with a disk put it in the computer

I did install already the Canon Eos disk. But my camera is still not recognized as a drive in the Finder. Do you really have to use each time the Canon software to simply transfer photos and videos?

How can i attach my canon 600D to a optex T-4151 tripod ?

Yes, your 600d has 1/4 threads at the bottom wich is ideal for tripod mounts, take the tripod head off the tripod, and line up the 1/4 tripod head and camera and screw in the tripod head into the camera (bottom), if any questions contact me thanks

Are you getting an error message or any other indication from the camera? Have you checked the memory card to see whether it's write-protected? What exposure mode(s)? What shutter release mode(s)?

Hello, my mother is having a baby in a few weeks and just today my canon 600d will not turn on, the battery is full and there is not exterior damage, I keep it in mint condition because it is my prid

Try resetting the camera by removing the battery for 20 mins. then replace the battery, power it up and go to the Menu and set the Date & Time.

Does the Sigma AF 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6 DL Macro Super Lens work on a Canon EOS 600D?

Sigma makes lenses with a variety of mounts. As long as you get one with a Canon mount it will work on your 600D. A lens with, say, a Sony mount, will not work on a Canon camera.

No. The 600D uses the LP-E8. This is the same battery as used by the 550D, but not the 500D.
