My car keeps stopping and the battery lights and engine oil comes up
I kept driving for a few more times. I added some engine oil.
then the last time the battery lights were on permenantly and I drove for another 30km then while driving the SRS lights, ABS light, Battery lights all came up and the car stopped and ould not start again.
Would appreciate if you could enlighten me as to how serious this is

Have the battery load tested to verify if it is good or bad.After the battery test,remove the alternator and have it tested for proper output.Places like Auto Zone will test both for free,but you have to remove from the car,and take the items to the store.
Whenever
this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You
must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool
and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for
the problem(s)

my battery light was on for a few days then one day I stopped at the grocery store and it wouldn't start. I got a boost and drove the car home 2 km away. I let the car run at home to see what would happen and eventually all the guages stopped working all the warning lights came on and it eventually shut off. It will not start now without a boost.
