TV tuner cards allow you to view programming on a computer system. Although desktop computers allow you to install internal TV tuner cards, laptop systems do not have the available space for internal cards. Because of this, laptop computers have PCI express card slots. This slot allows you to install and remove (at your will) additional hardware, such as TV tuner cards.

• TV tuner card
• Driver installation CD
• Software installation

1. Locate the PCI express card slot (located on the side of your computer opposite the disc drive). Push in on the protective cover on the slot to unlock it from the case. It pops out slightly, allowing you to remove the card.
2. Slide in the TV tuner into the PCI express card slot. The card clicks into place and a light blinks on when the card has connected successfully to the laptop computer.
3. Insert the driver installation CD into the disc drive of the computer. Momentarily a driver installation wizard appears on the screen. Click "Next" on the welcome page, then accept the given license agreement. Choose "Next" two more times, then select "Install" and the drivers from the driver installation CD install onto the computer.
4. Eject the driver installation CD and insert the software installation CD. This is the program you use to view the connected receiver. As with the driver installation CD, wait for the installation wizard to load up onto the screen. Accept the license agreement, leave the installation name and location blank, then click "Install" to install the software.
5. Restart the computer. Upon restart the laptop is ready to begin using the TV tuner card.
   

I know all driver of hardware PCI zenith TV tuner can work with windows 7 O.S. try first open your CPU then transfer to other PCI slot of your PC motherboard. then power on PC.

Upon installing your Philips SAA7130 TV tuner/Fm radio/ Video PCI Capture Card. You can switch your PC on, and get connected to the internet without opening any window. Left click the Control Panel, and the Add hardware wizard. Then follow the instruction. You will be prompted to load your CD installer software driver, if the PC cannot find any driver soft-
ware in the O.S., In case you don't have a CD, your
PC will look it by itself at the internet since you are already connected, just follow and wait to get it installed. Hope this helps.

i am not an expert, but have lots of experience with my own media center. by moving the tuner card you changed the address of it which if the os does not recognize new hardware, it will not install the drivers for it. i believe you will have to use the device manager to reinstall the drivers for the tuner card. also will have to redo the setup for the tuner in media center. another problem with the softare change is you have to update the security components to be able to view certain channels.
