Monitor Sound for JVC GZ-HD7

Would like to know if anybody has come across any solutions to monitoring the sound for the GZ-HD7. I've been told to purchase a "Boosteroo" head phone set and plug it into an adaptor and then plug into the A/V of the camera. Got no response from JVC if this would work.
Any suggestions?

I've never heard of an adapter and after a quick google search and all the options voided the warranty, but if i were to make an educated guess... the easiest way and unfortunately bulky way of doing this would be to use the av jack and the cable that came with the camcorder, take one or both of the RCA stereo ends and pass them through a mic - line level converter and that should work, or you can use one of the stereo RCA ends and use a rca to phono adapter and then connect a headphone volume amplifier to that. Other than those choses, I see no other way to monitor your record volume with headphones.
JVC has been approached about this and they said they didn't include a headphone jack to reduce cost, but seriously. how expensive could that have been?

Jvc hd7. there is "one" pixel "dead".

I don't know if its from the CCD or from your LCD Monitor. CCD dead pixels can be fix but you can't do this at home, need service center because first you gonna need Service Support Software, second you need connecting cable(QAMxxx) and (YTUxxx) Jig. Sorry
