I am Looking for the part number for the Vertical integrated circuit (single in-line pins). The on-board designation is IC501. The number can not be read directly off of the part as the IC has been damaged.
Never heard of this model/make. Must be a label TV How many pins and whats it start with ie TA-LA?

No numbers or letters at all on the IC. The IC had a melt-down. This brand TV is used mainly in commercial and educational...not sure if it's manufactured by someone else...I can't find anything else on it except it was manufactured in late 2003 and has a chassis number of: C-29D5
Found the answer, the part is a TDA-8351 Philips IC. There is also a fusible resister that fails - not sure of the value but a guess would be .82 ohms @ 2 watts. And yes this company is no longer selling TVs or monitors in the US. I'm not even sure if they are in business anymore - anywhere. Lots of these TV/monitors still out there.
