The battery is literally dead. This happened to my iPhone 4 about a
month ago. Fortunately I still had the warranty and took it to the apple
store. They inspected the phone and replaced it within 20 minutes. All
you data will be lost, but you can always restore it. They will not
replace your phone for water damage unless you have an extended hardware
warranty

Check the tiny copper pins in the hole that your charger goes in to see if one or more of them are bent. If they are, take a pin or needle and try to make them line up with the rest of the pins. If there are none bent, check the end of your charger the same way or just try a different charger.
Dear, first of all try cleaning the pins of your charger and mobile charging socket with petrol or kerosine oil. then see if it works, if still the problem persist, then their may be the fault in your charger or mobile charging socket. Or electric socket where you put your charger for charging! try charging your mobile by putting your charger in different switch board, if still it wont work, then try charging your mobile with different charger, if your mobile is getting charge, then get sure that problem is in your charger, its time to buy a new charger. original charges cost=900 duplicate charges cost=100
Have you tried more than one power outlet? It could be the power outlet you're trying to use isn't functioning. If it won't charge on a different outlet, the issue is either the charger you're using or the phone itself. Try wiggling the charger around while plugged in to the phone, see if that will charge it at all. You should also trying getting a different charger and see if that will work. If not, you may just need to replace the battery/phone.
You could try getting a different charger for your phone. Maybe your charger is just bad. It could be the charging port is dirty. Try and put a Q-tip and clean it. If not take it to your phone provider for a new phone.
i think your baterry is drained already..try to charge your battery in a universal charger, or a clip charger.then continue charging with your original charger
Where you connect your charger there is a loose connection there, what i can tell you for your phone to stay alive is just buy an universal charger it is not expensive, you put your battery in then after charging replace it in your phone and the problem is solve .
battery may be bad and need replaceing, or the charger has a short in it or is not functioning properly. if you plug the charger into the phone its self the phone should come on with or without the batery in it. if it dont then i'd try a different charger or get a new one.
Try a different battery. If that doesnt work, it may be your charger port. Take an old tooth brush, turn off the phone spray alcahol on the toothbrush, and scrub the port on the phone. If that fails your charger port needs to be replaced. Check with your provider about the warranty. If its not under warranty, check my profile and we can help you for sure.
it sounds like a problem with the charging port (where you actually plug the charger into your phone). unfortunately, you may have to replace the phone, as switching batteries or chargers wont solve the problem.
