In the department programming section, there should be a setting to turn on each tax (tax1, tax2 etc). Turn on or off the tax that you just set the rate for.

SOURCE: I have a PCR-T2100. I don't need PLUs, just some

You have set that PLU as a condiment PLU while setting tax status for it I'd say. Check the setting for condiment and turn it off.

SOURCE: I need to change the tax 3 to 23 percent? But its

Hi. Yes. If your machine has departments on the keyboard, then you need to set the status of the departments to include tax 1, 2 ,or 3 as required. If your machine has PLUs, you need to change the status of the PLUs.

I am helping a friend with newly purchased Casio PCR-T500. Have set depts and tax rates, however when I enter a sale, the price shows up on the receipt, but the tax does not. Any ideas? Thank you.

I haven't worked with that model but they usually will not print tax unless you set the print options accordingly. Look for a setting called print tax amount on receipt or print tax breakdown or words to that effect. If it is not calculating tax, make sure you have linked the department to a tax rate in dept programming

In Restaurant Pro Express how do you program it to calculate sales tax AFTER a dollar amount discount is applied...instead of BEFORE the discount is applied??

Hi Lori,

Here is how it is done. In INVENTORY, create a coupon item. In description, call it DISCOUNT, set to FLAT AMOUNT, check each SALES TAX used, and set amount to a negative -1.00. Click INCLUDE and choose which items or departments this coupon works for. You will need a coupon item for each amount of coupons you have out. This will show the discount amount on receipt and subtract the tax discount.

How do I rename a tax table on my Casio PCR-T2000? I am interested in changing all my registers to the Ontario HST of 13%. Thanks very much.

Use the PGM key and set to PGM. 3, sub total, enter tax table {1, 2, 3, 4}, Tax PGM, 13.00, ca/amt tend, skip to set 'round off/add-on', ca/amt tend, sub total. 4 tax tables are used for the following purposes: table 1 for the federal tax items, table 2 for the provincial tax, 3 and 4 for provincial and different tax table.

Remove Casio PCR-T2000 Tax Table 2

Hi. You are working in the wrong area. You need to tell each department not to add TAX2. Go to the department programming, and there should be a setting that says use tax1, use tax 2 etc. Turn off tax2 for any depts that you don't want it added and it will no longer print or calculate tax 2 for that department.

How to program the 2 taxes federal 5% and Quebec provincial 7.5

Hi.
It seems to be weird for this model.

Try this:

Turn key to program.
Now press the tax shift button to apply to a department (T/S1 for tax 1, T/S2 for tax 2, or T/S1 then T/S2 for both taxes).
Now press the department that you want to set with that tax.
Do the above for each department button.
Press SUBTOTAL to finish.

That will set only the tax you want to each department. If it still calculates incorrectly, then you have the rate set to the wrong amount.
