Not all of my facebook contacts are syncing w my contacts

First, I'm not a Facebook representative (but I am a retired too.)

On Android, this is in the Facebook app under Settings > Sync Contacts. Just set it to "Don't Sync". On the iPhone, go to the Facebook app, click the menu button, scroll down to "Friends", then hit the share button in the upper right-hand corner. Tap "Sync Contacts" and turn syncing off.Jul 2, 2012

* II believe you just need to log into your original Facebook account (using a laptop or your smart phone.)
* You can use the "Forgot password" option if you forgot.
* Once on your original FB account. Check out you friends list. Your probably using the same list for messenger. (unless you used "Messenger" Service long before setting up a F.B. page.)
* Just a note; It's VERY hard to delete a Facebook account. Even on purpose. It's a complicated process that can't happen by pressing the wrong key by accident.
* Check YouTube for "How to Delete Face Book Page for good?" (Once posted on internet. It's on forever.. Remember "Betty Boop?".... Forever.)

Sync is a term used to enable a device to share information with another source. I.e. if sync your phone to Facebook it can automatically put your friends contact information on your phone. Hope this helped.

This has happened because you signed up for Facebook during the initial setup ( when you first powered on the phone ) or in friend stream .
Now you need to go to settings > accounts and sync > click on Facebook and uncheck contact sync from there .

Assuming that it is an android phone, follow the procedure:
1. Go to settings 2. open "Accounts & sync 3. Open "Facebook" 4. Uncheck "Sync contacts" 5. Your facebook contacts won't be shown in your phone book. 6. Done.
If its a not an Android device, let me know. i will tell the procedure for that also.

Follow these steps:
- Go to your Settings, either find the "Settings" icon in the App Drawer, or tap the menu key while on the home screen.
- Tap Accounts & Sync
- Tap your Facebook account under "Manage Accounts" It should have a blue icon
- Tap the box next to "Sync Contacts" to uncheck it.

You should also go into Socialite and do the following (if you used it to set up your Facebook account):
- Open Socialite from the App Drawer
- Tap Facebook
- Tap the menu key
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down and check to make sure that the setting under "Facebook Contact Sync" is "Don't Sync." If it isn't, tap the entry and then choose "Don't Sync" from the list that appears.

You should also check any other Facebook applications you may have installed to see if there is anything about sync in their settings. Once you do this, your Facebook info should no longer appear in your contacts.
