Have a 42 in LG Plasma tv on my wall.. Couple of days ago the picture started "flashing" brightly, then all of a sudden the pictue screen does dark, I can still hear he sound, and every few minutes the pic comes back for a few seconds then goes dark again. If i shut the tv off, and turn it back on later, the picture looks fine for a few minutes then starts the same thing again, "flash" for a few seconds then dark. Any suggestions what it might be? the tv is only 3 years old, and LG HDTV Plasma. Thanks
You need to get this tv service asap.i beleive that the problem is in the inverter board or yb board.

I have a 50 inch zenith plasma tv. It starts flashing sometimes but doesn't go dark. I turn it off when it does this. When I turn it back on, it seems fine but it has started to do this more often. It is only 1 year old.
Our TV at first got a vertical blue line across the screen on the right hand side of the monitor and in the last few weeks, the flashing and off center picture has been happening. The on and off worked until now
I have the same problem attempting to get a tip on what part needs replacement? I was told the sustain or control board.
