My Evo Shift has been freezing for hours at a time the past couple of days, and has now been frozen for 20 hours straight and i cant use my phone for anything. Why is it doing this, and how do i fix this? I have only had the phone for 6 months and i havent dropped it, havent spilled anything on it, havent downloaded anything that could contain a virus, so i want some answers because frankly im quite ******.

Hi,
it could be either battery or charger, If the charger isn't supplying enough power it will fool the phone..
some 3rd party batteries and cheapo chargers can cause all sorts of problems like this.
best way to test is charge your phone by usb, it takes longer but will give you some idea of weather its the battery or charger.
Make sure that the box at the bottom of the power management window (dont charge by usb) is set to off. Also for best results remove any other usb devices from the computer this will leave more power for the phone.
Best of luck
SOURCE: htc mogul keeps freezing
These days they arent making the moguls anymore, and many of them have been reported as having problems. With that said, i was able to bring my phone in to a service store and they were able to order a new one for me free, but since they arent making moguls, they'll actually give you a TOUCH PRO!! much better phone in my opinion. They asked me if i had insurance, i do, but i hope that doesnt affect any of you. moguls ****...=(

Check this
Go to start>settings
Go to the system tab and the regional settings icon
Go to the time tab and it should be hh:mm:ss tt for 24 hour clock

SOURCE: Meteor settings required for HTC hero please.
I'm a HTC Hero user on Meteor BillPay. Had the same problem and got the following solution from Meteor support which worked for me. On the phone, navigate to :
- Settings
- Wireless Controls
- Mobile Network Settings
- Access Point Names
- Meteor Data
- APN Type
Change the value here to the word "default".
Restart the phone and bob's your uncle. I did this and it worked a treat.
