For example, the network USA is printed on the bottom right corner, but only the US shows up. Similar idea one the left side. Actually, the picture is also bigger than the screen on the top and bottom as well. So, basically, the picture is larger than the screen. How can I fix this?

Please read page 39 or in your manual page 38

Thin white dashes on top of screen is PERFECTLY NORMAL. It is nothing wrong with the TV, it is the broadcast. What you are seeing is the very bottom of the timecode running. It doesn't happen all of the time or all channels. It usually happens with old 4:3 commercials predating "Digital TV." This is mentioned in your Users Manual. You should be able to adjust the horizontal/vertical position in the menu settings.

YOU MUST GO INTO YOUR PS3 VIDEO SETTINGS MENU AND SET YOUR HDMI TO 1080P AND YOUR PICTURE SHOULD BE OK

Your control board seem's defective or the inverter board (associated circuits) are bad. This is common in most TFT-LCD Tv's.......
SOURCE: Sharp Aquos LC C3242U - Intermittant Sound Switching from Mono to Stereo
Not sure if I just got lucky or if the problem is solved..I hooked up my Sharp Aquos LC-32D64U the other night and I had the blue audio box pop up. Mine was only in Mono and would not switch to Stereo...Well, Local cable company is of of Hi-Def boxes but I thought what if my Digital box is bad/old or has some sort of problem. I went down to comcast cable company switched to a different digitial box..came home, hooked it up and so far no blue audio box, plus now it shows that it's in stereo..good luck
