How to remove gas tank from a 6hp Tecumseh OHC engine?

possible part blocked main jet or low fuel supply from blocked filter in the tank

find a used flywheel because tecumseh is no longer in business

Try Sears Parts Direct.com or Parts Tree.com

almost any engine with the same size shaft will work 6hp to 13hp

If you go to the SEARS Parts web site, the SEARS Part Numbers are the same as the Tecumseh Part Numbers.

possibly dirt got into the carb from the tank---you may have to clean the carb

The float and pin can be bought as a repair kit., and replaced.
