How can i display the time on my PTID-4005? - Power Acoustik PTID-4005 Car Video Player

I have the PTID 7002 but im sure its the same solution, this is from Power Acoustik:

You need to have the remote in hand. Insert a memory stick or SD card that has the images you want to use. When the image is displayed, press the pause button on the remote. Then touch the screen to bring up a set of icons on the bottom. If you do not see an icon with a hand, press the arrows that are in a circle until you do. Once you see the hand, press it one time. It will save the image onto the internal memory. You will find the image in the screen tab in settings, under all the stock images.

hey i have the same problem did you ever get yours to work if so how did you get it to work ??????????

Check that you have thermal paste between the processor and the heat-sink it is easy to get at but be caerfull with the fan it only has a short cable.

i have Power Acoustik PTID-4007 my problem is not turn on lcd not out audio but yes is take cd and out cd, the screen is move in three postion. help me please

Check the wiring!

Try the following which i managed to get from POWER ACOUSTIK technical support:

Multi-region for PTID4006T, 406T, 4005, 405, 8006T, 8004, 4003, 5000, 5800, 5300, 530.

1. Turn the unit on and insert a DVD disc. The unit will display LOADING.

2. While the DVD player is LOADING press the following keys:
SET-UP, then press 0, 0, 0, 0 key (0 four times), then ARROW DOWN key (to change the zone to region all 0), then BAND/ENTER key and SET-UP

3. To finish the procedure, push the EJECT key. The disc will eject... Wait and the DVD disc will re-load and play.

Ignore the above comment... SD cards and USB play fine on there (i have one).
Mine does the same, but leave it for 5-10 seconds after it says close and it loads it up!

Just ground you brake wire directly to the metal frame. It should work fine. Goodluck.
