Its illegal to watch a dvd/tv when the vehicle is moving so the manufacturer disables the function.. Usually by connecting a cable to your handbrake indicator or to your vehicle speed sensor VSS. Youll have to find out which one it is. You can then find out how to disable it. JVC's normally ground the H/brake cable
Get a switch from walmart with 3 plugs to it, 1 for power, 1 for acc, and 1 for ground. Splice the ground and battery cords and attatch them accordingly to the switch. The back cable...i think its pink or orange attach to the accessories....should be the one in the middle on the switch... WHen the switch is off then you can watch while you drive...hope i helped
What i did was get a switch from walmart. they cost less than 2 bucks...Get one that has 3 slots..1 for power, 1 for acc, 1 for ground. Plug the brake cord the acc, and splice the power and ground cords to the other two. When your switch is off you can watch video while you drive, when its on it will cut the video off and display that message.....
If you want to do it the right way, then plug it into the emergency brake line or the parking brake line...hope i helped
