My unit has been working fine, but now when I burn a DVD-RW there appears to be a compatibility problem. The data verifies OK, but slowly (x3ish) on the unit, and even slower (x0.3ish) on a different DVD-ROM. This results in burned movies seeming to freeze/jump, or be unplayable.
DVD-R disc burns cause no problems.
I think it has developed over time, as recent movie burns resulted in a few jumps.

try using different media ( non light scribe ) and second try using a program such as nero premium or easy media creator 9/10.Most of my dvd's have been successful with good quality especially with nero ultimate/premium
