Cracked camera lens on my Motorola Razr

Dropped one too many times, on the garage floor. There is a small crack in the corner of the very tiny camera lens protective glass. It doesn't seem to effect the pictures, but it would be nice if this phone looked as well as it still works! I'd like to use it for at least another 6-9 months.

Thanks!

Correction, it hasn't effected the picture yet, with the dust and dirt getting in between the glass and camera lens, I'm sure it's only a matter of time.

    thanks :)

Motorola RAZR V3 faceplate lens cracked

It is not hard to change the faceplates on cell phones but you will need a special screwdriver to take the faceplate off, It looks like an octogon. I am not sure if it will fix the lens but when you look at the new plate you will be able to tell. Anymore question just giveme a shout bud.

Motorola RAZR V3 faceplate lens cracked

This is very simple to fix. I have replaced 2 of them already. You can buy the new glass for I believe $6.99 or around that delivered from someone selling them on eBay. Then just pull out the old glass etc. Then the new piece has a little trim of double sided tape on it to fit into the exact same spot.

Three problems...

1. You may have water damage this would explain all of the problems. 2. I doubt very highly it's your carrier 3. If you have dropped your phone, your camera lens may be cracked causing the screen to pick up primary colors, or once again it's water damage. If the screen does different variations of color in different patterns or only partial images... the lens is cracked. Otherwise... YOU'VE GOT WATER DAMAGE... say goodbye to the Razor.
