Problems viewing all the files through my computer

I added a couple more songs onto my mp3 player last night and they play just fine on the mp3 player. I have over 900 some songs on it but when I plug it into the computer at work for some odd reason it doesnt show all 900 some files that are on the mp3 player. I am trying to find a certain song to burn to a cd for someone at work today, so if someone can please help me solve this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

SOURCE: music files won't show up

Is your device almost full? The player needs sever MB's of space to create the database or menu, for you to navigate with. Try deleting some music, then restart the device. Best of Luck.

SOURCE: my songs wont add onto my sandisk sansa mp3 player

What format are the songs you're not able to hear? It's possible that the songs are not in a format the Sansa can play.

Also, you can navigate your Sansa like a removable drive. Try going to "My Computer" and looking to see what's actually on the drive.

I added songs but it will not let me listen to anything

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You can download mp3 music files from the Internet to your computer and then copy them to your MP3 player using the USB cable. For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3 player after you have connected the USB cable to the MP3 player and the computer.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track. Click on this link for instruction on converting music files to mp3 file format :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r5798418-creating_transferring_mp3_music_files

Randomly deleted songs and cannot upload more

Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sandisk's website to be on the safe side, but I'm thinking that your song licenses expired. Convert all of your songs to mp3 format, and you will not have these kinds of problems.

File error

What's the music format of the songs that you placed on your mp3 player? Some MP3 Players only capable of playing song files with .mp3 extension and are incapable of playing other music format like wav, wma, etc. Check also the contents of the player for corrupted files and foreign files. Some viruses from a computer could affect the performance of your mp3 player.
