Error C:13:01 I've had my Sony DSC-P7 for quite a while and all of a sudden 3 of my memory sticks come up with this error code C:13:01, they are all sony magicgate memorystick pro's 256 MB, but the other memeory sticks such as sony 128 MB are fine, ho do i fix this as its URGENT that i need to use it ASAP....Please help....

The Sony DSC-F717 will only take upto a 256MB Memory Stick - larger size Memory Sticks will give the C: 13:01 error. Use a correct memory stick and your camera should be fine. Regards, Andrew

“Memory Stick Duo” is unformatted.
“Memory Stick Duo” is broken.
“Memory Stick Duo” type error
The camera cannot read or write data
on the “Memory Stick Duo”.

Format the “Memory Stick Duo”.
Replace a new “Memory Stick Duo”.
Insert a supported “Memory Stick Duo”.

INSERT ANY NEW MEMORY STICK SHOWING FORMAT ERROR

Please format memory stick by camera Menu >> Format option.
If problem still exist, try another memory stick and check camera again.

Memory card

Hi - no, the DSC-P7 isn't compatible with Memory Stick Pro, only original Memory Stick, meaning you're limited to 128MB/stick. Having said that, the P7 is only a 3.2MPixel camera, 128MB will hold quite a few pictures, even at full resolution.

Not using all memory

check the memory stick properties at the computer using card reader or format it after you save the picture taken to make sure the memory has been clean totally....if nothing happen to your memory stick it have a bad sector....buy a new one..
