SOURCE: Need Size for my filter,

I assume the filter goes in at the bottom of the air handler. Carrier, in their infinite wisdom, uses the oddest sizes of any units. Use a tape measure and measure the depth and width of the opening.
It may be something like 19-5/8x21. You can't buy these off the shelf at home supply stores.
You will have to find a heating and air supply store to get them.

Hope this helps.

I have carrier floor standing unit in my home. model number 42sm5c-a its showing E3 and unit getting shut down

Try changing out your air filters if that don't work try cleaning evaporation coils. If that don't work get ahold of your local HVAC shop they will take care of it.

Need a quick fix for a Carrier that won't heat. Ac works, fan works, auto for heat doesn't.

Could be the capacitor or the heating element (or igniter if it's a gas unit). Unless you're a qualified HVAC repairman, call your local HVAC company to come take a look at it.

I have a carrier a/c with the model number of fb4cnf036, I need to know what is the proper size for the air filter. thank you

One thing you have to be aware of is some 20×20 filters are 19.5 ×19.5. This is due to the difference between residential and commercial grills. Some 20×20s are in fact 20×20. Measure with a tape measure and make sure your filter size IS THE ACTUAL FILTER DIMENSION!! Good Luck!

I have a carrier gas furnace model #58sta090-14. The led light is solid red. The furnace will not go on. What is the issue?

it shut down for safety reasons --which can be anything from thermocoupler failure ,gas valve ,overheating ,fan ,dirty filter etc ,,if you dont have access to your manual for your system --shows what and how to check problems and reset --then notify a qualified heating repair company or in some areas your gas provider has repair service

Carrier 38ckc036350, need a fan blade.

If you have the blade removed take it to a hvac parts house or appliance parts house. Carrier may not sell you one? but may give the pitch and size, rotation etc. If you cant get the blade off remove the entire motor, it needs a puller to remove.

AIR FILTER
DESCRIPTION

A dust and odor air filter is standard equipment on
models equipped with the three zone temperature
control systems. The filter element is the
same size as the front air conditioner evaporator to
ensure ample filtering capacity. A removable door on
the bottom of the front HVAC housing below the
glove box provides easy access to the filter element
for replacement. The filter should be checked and
replaced at least once every 24,000 km (15,000 miles)
and checked if heater-A/C system performance seems
lower than expected.
REMOVAL
(1) Locate the air filter door on the bottom of the
lower HVAC housing just outboard of the passenger
side of the instrument panel center stack.
(2) Slide the air filter door latch toward the rear of
the vehicle until it engages the opened stop on the
door.
(3) Pull the air filter door straight downward to
disengage it from the air filter opening of the lower
HVAC housing.
(4) Use your fingers to reach through the air filter
opening of the lower HVAC housing far enough to
grasp the air filter.
(5) Pull the air filter straight down and out of the
HVAC housing.
INSTALLATION
(1) Note the “Airflow” directional arrow imprinted
on the foam seal around the frame of the air filter.
This arrow should always be oriented towards the
center of the vehicle.
(2) With the air filter “Airflow” arrow properly oriented,
carefully slide the filter fully upward into the
HVAC housing through the air filter opening.
(3) With the latch still positioned against its
opened stop, reinstall the air filter door onto the
lower HVAC housing air filter opening.
(4) Slide the air filter door latch toward the front
of the vehicle until it hits the closed stop on the door.

Good luck
