Log into Dell Computers or just open there web page, go to downloads and type in Dell 2400MP free download program and then use the wizard on your IBM to set it up

Check your laptop's LCD connections. One of the below items may need replacement or you may need to just reinsert them, might be loose.

- LCD cable
- LCD inverter
- LCD itself

NOTE: Most often, the LCD inverter is the culprit.

you would need to get all the drivers for your laptop from the IBM website and install all of them. If you cant find them or need further help please post back and let me know.

does the laptop recognize that an external device is plugged in when you connect? you should hear a beep and be given options to adjust video settings. look at your keyboard and look for the picture on one of the keys (either number keys or fkeys) for the display change button. you usually have to hit the fn key and then the corresponding key.
iv had issues with this personally going from video out to svideo to rca video and ended up losing color...adapters are funny things. its possible that the adapter itself either doesnt work at all or just doesnt work with your laptop. wouldnt be the first time.

Try just pressing "Fn" and "F7" keys until the output switches to your TV.

Sounds like you need to reinstall the sound driver, the should be located on your computer, or you can download then from IBM's website
