My odyssey makes boiling kittle sound when the temperture control is set on anything but "max cold." When the temperture is set on a little bit toward warmer temperture, the heat gets really hot. In other words, heater temperture control is not working properly. The A/C works fine. The fan works fine as well.

I'm not sure where you are based, but with most new vehicles there is a 3 year or 60,000 mile warranty, so it should be covered under that if there is a fault. I recommend taking it to the dealer if the warranty is still current, otherwise if it is not you could check through the fuses to make sure it's not just a blown fuse, maybe check the wiring to the fan motor under the dash to make sure it's still plugged in and not damaged, and (with the key on and the heater fan switched on) check for power to the fan motor with a testlight. If there is power there then the fan motor is faulty, if not then there is fault with the control system, but that is probably about as far as you could go at home. Obviously if the fan is faulty you could replace it yourself if it's easily accessible. Any further faults would need a Honda dealer or good auto electrician to diagnose.
Hope this helps,
Mark.
SOURCE: 2004 Honda Odyssey D Light Does Not Work, But Maintence Required
D problem is simply a lightbulb out on the cluster board.
Simple to remove the cluster and replace the bulb.
The Service Required light can be reset by
1) Turn they key to the II position
2) Turn the key to the off position, and push and hold in the odometer reset button
3) Turn they key back to the II position, while still holding the button.
4) After about 10-15 seconds, the light should go off.

SOURCE: 2002 Honda Odyssey fan only works at high speed. The A/C compress
Usually when the blower fan only operates on hi speed, its because of a failed blower motor resistor. You still have hi speed because on hi, the power going to the blower motor goes directly to it, as opposed to the lower speeds, when the power is routed through the resistor, thus lowering the voltage, which in turn lowers the speed of the fan. The resistor is usually located near the blower motor itself, under the hood back near the firewall.
SOURCE: 2004 Honay Odyssey Air Conditioning not working
you have to replace the resistor under the passenger side dash. the wires coming from the blower motor runs to it. if it is back the module wont let the a/c work. common problem. easy fix
SOURCE: no hot air!!! honda civic
u need to open the blower motor assembly and clean all the old dry leaf that build up & blocking the heater core
