Hi, I own a WFX145SGB, we have had it for a few years now andit has never let us down, recently when selecting a 40' wash the display states the count down time and starts loading the water into the drum, after approx 2-3mins is shuts off! The door lock is disengaged and turning the programmer has no effect on the display, it appears to have no power!(I turned the programmer once before and the display flashed on and then off), there are no error codes before this happens. Any ideas would be very welcome, Best Regards M.Gardner

I've had a WFK2401 since 2002. I have had this issue for years. I've manually drained this washer so many times the floor is warped from occasional spillage. 03, eight aggravating beeps that go on forever, nothing in the trap. The problem, in my case is in intermittent, averaging about one in four times. My electronically-fluent son suggested that the control board might be dirty so I disassembled the top and extracted the control board. There was obvious black soot on the components in the vicinity of the transformer. The soot was not contamination from the environment, the soot was from a component on the control board that "exploded". I had a serviceman in my home several months ago to repair another appliance. All he said about the Bosch was, "...just wait until you have to replace the control board". Part cost is about $300.

It may be possible that you are using too much soap. There is a turbidity sensor that checks for soap in the water. It will keep rinsing until it thinks the soap is gone. You did not state if you are ever able to complete an entire cycle or not. If the cycle never completes, it is possibly a problem with the main circuit board. Have you allowed the machine to complete a cycle?

possibly the motor brushes.
take back panel off and motor is held in by bolts which undo - also disconnect electrical plug and socket.
check condition of brushes

Isolate power and water supply and gain access to the main drum motor. Check for condition of carbon brushes by removing them and repla
ce if severely worn. Check wiring loom around motor and right back to module controller. The clicking is obviously power being supplied to motor via the loom to the motor. finally check for any dry solder joints or burnt areas on the circuit board controlling the motor.

Just a guess, but it sounds as if the machine doesn't think the door is shut. Try pushing against it as you turn it on, if that works, then I'd guess there's a door shut switch that needs adjusting.
NOTE. This reply is from an amateur guesser who knows nothing.
