To my knowledge, most Hisense TV units have proprietary remote control signals. Most universal remotes will not be 100% compatible as you have experienced. A probable workaround is if the Skybox Plus remote is capable of learning. Then original Hisense TV's remote can teach the Skybox Plus remote.

I have a Hisense 50K360G, when I turn it on the power light blinks 7 times, pauses, then blinks 3 times. After this it appears the backlight comes on but there is no picture. I can hear the weather channel that is on and I can also play a DVD and hear the sound but no picture. Im sure that the power light is giving an error code but I cannot find error codes of a hisense tv anywhere on the net. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
