Look for drivers web site to down load for you pc ore load on usb drive put back on your lap top Sounds like you might have virus playing games witht your lap top.
I would recommend you uninstall the Dell Support Software regardless of
version. It's not much more than a resources drain on your system imo. just go to c panel ..add remove programs ...and uninstall it ...
Down load your drivers to a pc where you have internet connection, copy the drives to a USB memory stick and the load the drivers on your lap top and your ready to go.
I had this problem on my PC and I tried everything from updating drivers to re installing the software and updating my graphics card but nothing seemed to work.
And then as a last resort I right clicked on the icon on my desktop and chose properties and clicked on the Compatability tab and unchecked on display settings Run in 640x480 screen resolution.
This worked and did not affect the webcam in anyway.
