I need a wiring diagram for a Panasonic CQ-VD7001U car stereo. Can someone please help.

You need the wiring harness that came with the stereo in the box it was in.
Next you'll need an aftermarket radio harness which you can find here just plug in your car info.

I had this problem as well. On my harness was a wire for connecting the factory amp. You have to connect the Automatic Antenna wire to the Factory Amp Turn On wire. Should be a blue wire to a blue wire with a white stripe.

just use a volt meter and test around to find your powers and grounds. then look behind the speakers to find the wire colors and compare to behind the stereo

No wiring diagram
the red wire is on and off, the yellow is live, black is ground, blue is amp turn on, brown is suppose to go to the e-brake. the four speakers are gray, purple,green, and white (one is all (color)(+) the other is (color) with a black line(-))

the rest should be self explanatory, also you can go to any stereo shop and get a universal radio hook up harness and just match up the colors and plug it in, very simple.

You need the remote control that goes with this DVD player to make it work it has two security devices. One you remote, you must push the power button on the remote the first time you use it. Two the security code, it is a four digit code that must be entered anytime that the device is installed into a different car. If it's code is not setup yet the code is 0000, otherwise you need to get the code from the person that installed it. There is no way to bypass the these two steps.

Each manufacturer has their own remotes which you can obtain by contacting their website or writing then to explaining that you want a remote for your model #. Most stereos work without the remote except where you have to enter a code for the security device on higher end units.
