First, make sure that the Mach Speed Trio Onyx MP3 player is fully charged (if you use a rechargeable battery) or insert a new AAA battery. Then press and hold the Play button for 5+ seconds. This will turn off the MP3 player if it is on.
http://www.machspeed.com/onyx.html has a manual. At the bottom of the page, there will be a section that says manual. Choose ENG (English). I hope this helps
