Try and switch the machine off and then back on again. This should erase the memory.

SOURCE: Scanner - memory is full

A KM-2550 has 64 MB RAM built in. I believe less than 30 of it is for image storage. You may be able to lower your scan resolution.
Best solution is to add more memory. Look for a Kyocera compatible 100 pin dimm (don't buy from the manufacturer). It will read 16 MB to 256 MB sticks. You have to take out 6-8 screws holding on the part of the back the sticks out on the upper left. Make sure after installing you print a status page to make sure the memory was recognized.

How to clear scan data

Your machine will show 100% and that is correct. It doesn't mean memory full, but rather the amount of memory that is still available. Once you scan a document you will see the memory drop down to 99% or even lower depending on the size of the scan. If you don't see this happening than you are not scanning. Other than that your scan will either go to a folder on your PC or straight to your email. All you need to do is locate the folder it saves your scan in (usually created in your C: drive) or check your email folders including your Spam/Junk mail folders.

Why am I getting lines on my prints when I go thru the top feed of my Lanier LD425C?

Clean the **** glass. It is a long skinny glass to the left of the big rectangular glass under the feeder. Clean it and your problem should go away.

Sharp fax machine UX30 memory is full. How to empty fully?

If the memory becomes full while the document is being scanned, MEMORY IS FULL will appear in the display. This may occur during fax reception if too much data is received before the pages can be printed out.
  1. Press these keys: (function) 6 # #
  2. The display will show: RECEPTION RATIO
  3. Press 1 to turn automatic reduction on.
  4. Select the reception ratio to be used in the event that the memory becomes full (automatic reduction is not possible when the memory is full). Press 1 for 93% or 2 for 100%.
  5. Press the STOP key.

If you are attempting to transmit from memory:
  1. Press the START/MEMORY key if you want to transmit the pages which have been stored up to that point in memory. The remaining pages will be ejected from the feeder.
  2. After transmission, the memory will be cleared and you can transmit the remaining pages.
  3. You will also need to transmit the page which was being scanned when the memory filled up.
  4. Press the STOP key if you want to cancel the entire transmission.

When trying to scan to media it says Memory Full pres Stop. And it won't scan it. Any help?

It seems that your xerox memory is full. You must delete all documents from memory.
The easiest way is to turn off your scanner leave it approx. 5-6 seconds and turn it on.
