Closed captin I can't turn the closed caption off on my panasonic plasma tv. It says "off " in the setup menu, but still continues to be on.

Turn off your tv cc in Manu .

They are not controlled by your television or your television's remote. There is usually a hidden menu where captions can be enabled and disabled. To exit closed caption do the following.
1. Press the menu button and select CC and press OK button.
2. In CC menu select MODE and using right arrow or left arrow button select it OFF
3. Press OK button
4. Press menu button to exit menu option.

To enable close cationing on your TV follow this:-

[1] Press "Menu" button on the remote control to appear "Setup" menu on the screen.
[2] Use "Up and Down" arrows on the remote contol to select "Captions/Text" on your screen.
[3] Press "Right or Left " arrows to select any one of the following options. Caption-1, Caption-2, Caption-3, Caption-4 Text-1, Text-2, Text-3, Text-4.
[4] Press enter to return TV viewing.

To turn the caption feature to "On" or "Off'

[2] Using "UP/DOWN" buttons to select captions on your screen.

Used ur remote find a button said CC on the remote.Turn off all CC1,2,3 captioning should stop.Or go into ur tv menu find out,where are captioning turn it all CC1,2,3 off.

For the set you can activate the CC in the setup menu. But some cable, sattelite ect. receivers have to have teh close caption turned off or on in the setup menu there or you do not get the cc signal to the set.

I don't believe the Closed Caption circuit is tied to the Comp input. That would be controlled by the cable box menu or satellite receiver, which ever your using..Try that and let me know..

I went to menu, special features. then select analog CC and selected OFF.
