I think this is an ongoing problem with Lexmark printers. After doing a bunch a digging with just the right phrases, I found this link on the Lexmark site.
ftp://ftp.lexmark.com/driver/inkjet_drivers/Cleanup/
It ran a little strange, but eventually rebooted my computer. After coming back up, it was still finishing up in the background. I went back to check if the program was still there in the add/remove and it was. This time when I clicked on it, Windows told me that it had already been removed and asked if I wanted the Lexmark removed from the add/remove. I selected yes, did a manual reboot and everything is clean. Finally!!
I hope this helps anyone sharing the same headaches as I've been experiencing.

Use the CD to uninstall the printer program. When you run it, there is an Uninstall option there. Try it.

Error message on hp deskjet printer

I had a similar problem when I tried to install a refilled HP cartridge. I took the cartridge out, unplugged the printer (hard boot), plugged it back in and reinstalled the cartridge. That got it to work.

If that doesn't work, try taking a cotton swab (q-tip, cotton bud) and clean the contacts on the ink cartridge. Even though they are gold plated, sometimes contamination will cover one or two contacts so the printer will not properly read the cartridge.

Hope this hleps....

Try this. Install the Dell printer software again,Link below, then go to the add printer through the control panel. Highlight the Dell. On the left side it says "'Delete printer?" Click on it. You may want to even try this first before reinstalling.

Hpqthb08.exe and HPQDocViewer.exe error messages

****, since you have been having many issues, I guess that your windows is corrupted.

The best way to proced is to install a clean copy of Windows, install all of services packs and updates and then install the HP software and test the printer.

I know this is a lot of work, but it probably will solve this and many other problem that you are experiencing.

good luck!
