I replaced my pickups in my epiphone les paul studio but I must have done something wrong becasue all I have is buzz when I plug into an amp
Sounds like the plug jack may be wired backwards. The wire in the middle goes to the part of the plug that touches on the tip of the cord. The ground touches the ring that goes around the plug.
Or a bad solder connection on the ground wire on the jack, or shell/sheild on the guitar.

Unless you are wanting to use the Nanomag, I'd just get it taken out of the signal. You should be able to bypass it anyways.
