I have no jumper on my samsung dlp to change colors back after changing the color wheel.

Do you mean that red and blue are reversed? If so, you may need to remove a jumper, see end of linked article. Pinkish-yellow or orange sounds like a good description of skin tone, but perhaps too intense. If the color is too intense, can you just lower the color level with the color control? There should be a jumper somewhere around the color wheel. I am having a problem with my color wheel, and after doing a lot of research I found that people that have the same problem as you changed the jumper setting. Try looking it up here on the net. Should solve your problem.

There is a place for a jumper on your DMD (the module that the color wheel plugs in to) If the jumper is there remove it. If there is no jumper install one. On later models the pins are gone but solder pads are still there, solder it. Some wheels have air bearing and others have fluid bearing. You really should buy a service manual for that set. New color wheels sometimes come with CCA values that you must change in the service menu

Replacing the color wheel can sometimes switch Red With Blue. If you remove the jumper it could fix the problem.

It says if your red and blue colors are reversed removing the jumper should fix the issue.

With the back off of the unit, you are looking at a silver can on the light engine. The is the board where the DLP IC is located. There is a large heat sink right in the middle. Near that heat sink you will find a small square cut out where two pins protrude from the inner bd. There is a small black piece across those two pins, that is the jumper. With a needle nose slide that black jumper off of the two pins. Normally if the color wheel is changed and the jumper not remove the picture is very poor with ugly green and purple negative look.

Most times color does not to be reset. If you have a very ugly green or blue picture, then you did not pull the jumper on the dm board. This jumper must be removed when a bering type color wheel has be replaced with a new airless bering color wheel.

My 3 yr old Samsung DLP has the same buzzing noise, had a tech out today and he said "color wheel". Thank goodness I purchased that expensive warranty, This is my 4th repair in 3 years.
