When ever i am trying to send message,phone displays that sim card is not ready.

If the Nokia X6 16GB phone,displays invalid sim card message on the screen it is locked to some network.Please find out the network and country it is locked now.If it is locked to network,it will not accept other network sim card.But you saying it is accepting other networks sim card.How many network sim card have tried inserting in it?If you tried only one network sim card and it accepted that it is locked to that network.You can also try using some other network sim card.If it displays invalid sim message again.It is under network lock.To unlock it use unlock code.Visit the site Wickedunlock.com get code and unlock it easily.

Once you insert a sim card inside the phone. Be patient with it, allow it read the sim card, and settle its software. If you try to send a message when you just insert the sim into a phone, the message you will be getting is 'sim card not ready'.

Please insert the sim back into your phone and wait for about 3 minutes before trying to send a text. That way the sim card would have been ready to perform your operation for you.

If you happen to have another sim card with you, can we try to use that sim card and see if the phone will send.
Or your sim card on another phone.

-This is to identify for sure is the issue with the phone or sim..

-If you cant send using another phone then get you sim changed or check with your operator.

-If you are able to send on another phone then you may wanna try resetting your phone by following these steps:

- A restore by keying in *#7780# when on standby - This will not delete any data but will restore all the settings back to default.

If that does not help then you may wanna try doing a soft reset by keying in *#7370# when on standby - This will reformat the phone. DO NOT FORGET TO DO A BACK UP AS THIS WILL ERASE YOUR ENTIRE PHONE MEMORY.

The security code by default is 12345

If this fails as well then you may try doing the Hard reset by performing the 3 finger reset. You can do this by switching the phone on with the '3', '*' and green 'call' buttons pressed at the same time.

Hi,the message that pops up saying "Network Service Unavailable" might be from the message settings not correctly set and it is unable to send messages.

You can go to the message setting options on the cell phone to confirm if it is rightly set.

To be sure, you can also use the sim card on another phone to confirm, by using the a friends phone to send a message.

If the message settings are correctly placed, the problem might be from the sim card. You willneed to contact Sim service center for help to rectify the problem for the Sim card..

The problem could the SIM card or the phone. Remove the SIM card from the phone, insert it to another phone and try sending messages. If you can send messages then the problem lies in the phone. To verify, insert a different SIM card into your phone and try sending messages. The problem can be resolved by removing the battery and the SIM card from the phone then wait for at least 15 minutes before putting them back.

IT CAN BE FIXED BY ONLY CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE..

you sim card does not work the phone or the phone might lock with other provider-- try to turn off the phone - take out the battery and sim card - wait for 30 sec - put the sim card then the battery in - wait for 30 sec - turn on the mobile .. i hope you will able to make calls now.

sms thing... go to message settings - look for message center number if there is then it will be ok when you restart your phone but if you didnt find it call custoer service and ask the message center number. get it write it and you are ready to seend messages.

In my many years of using Nokia phones, I noticed that when there are duplicate entries on both SIM card and Phone memory, the names will not appear when they send you messages. You may try to check your phone and sim memory if the numbers are stored on both and delete the duplicate or choose just one memory to use, whether it be the SIM or phone memory to avoid conflicts.
