Can't update firmware

There are a couple of things you can do. Try to update your phone firmware using Firmware Over The Air, if your operator supports this.Re-install the phone firmware using Nokia Suite / Nokia PC Suite. This should re-install the certificates as well. If the problem still persists, visit your nearest Nokia Care Point. Let us know if this helps

JUST DO A RESET TO YOUR PHONE..IF IT DOSENT WORK USE SONY ERICSON UPDATER SERVICE TO UPDATE THE FIRMWARE...IF THE SERVICE SAYS NO FIRMWARE UPDATE THEN U NEED TO TAKE IT TO THE SERVICE CENTER(FIND IT ON GOOGLE MAPS) OR BUY YOUR OWN SERVICE TOOLS LIKE SETOOL BOX

You can download any available ODD (Optical Disc Drive) updates from http://us.lgservice.com. Click Product Support, click Optical, choose your model number from the list, and click go. Click the Drivers & Software tab. Download the latest version posted (highest number).

The firmware for all recent drives works with Windows. Before running the update, make sure the drive is empty. Close as many programs running the background as you can. Run the downloaded executable file to start the update. Some will automatically start updating the dive and some will require you to push "Upgrade" or "Start". If the firmware doesn't see the drive it was designed for, it will not install.

WARNING: Never update the firmware if the problem you're having is the drive isn't seen by windows, won't write with the included software, or other interface related problems. Unless the firmware specifically states it fixes the problem you are having, firmware updates normally don't fix these types of problems. Trying to update the firmware when there are interface problems can damage the drive's firmware. An error when updating the firmware is usually caused by a problem with the drive interface or there is more than one drive connected to that IDE channel.

IMPORTANT: do not interfere with the drive during the firmware update. If an error occurs during the upgrade process, or the upgrade process is cancelled during this process, damage to the drive can occur. and click on the download now button just under the big ps3 and save it to your desktop or any other place that you can get to the file easly.

2 Now get into your j-drive and make a new folder named "PS3".

3 Now click on the PS3 folder and make a new one called "UPDATE".

4 Now put the downloaded update file ito the "UPDATE" folder that you just made.

5 Take the j-drive to your ps3 and plug it into the usb port.

6 Once done with that go to settings, system update, update via mass storage device.

7 Follow the directions on the screen to complete the update.

8 Once done you cna go back to playing on your ps3.
