Pokemon Stadium won't read my Pokemon Yellow

I have an N64 copy of Pokemon Stadium, and a Game Boy copy of Pokemon Blue and Yellow. I can use the transfer pak with Pokemon Blue just fine, but I can't use it for Yellow. The game works fine in GBA SP, and the Transfer Pak acknoweldges there's a game in the Pack, but it won't read it, it gives me an ID with question marks and says 'This Game Pak can't be used'. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

I have cleaned both the Pokemon Yellow game and the Transfer Pak itself thoroughly prior to posting this. That's what I initially thought the issue was.

Well it means that the game pack was not made to work on this console at the time it is not companle with Pokemon yellow so you could try and see if it will work on a wii or wii u console. If it works with the game boy advance sp then that's fine for that system then not for the N64 console sorry Pokemon stadium 2 was not made at that time.

SOURCE: Nintendo 64 Pokemon Stadium Transfer Pak Error

Its most likely the controller. When you put in the pack is it loose? You could try cleaning the GB game and trying again.

I do not know how to install pokemon stadium 2!Can anybody help me?

''Install'' A game? Just put the game in your N64 and play! If you use a Flash Card, put it on the SD (Micro) and play|!

I played pokemon stadium 2 in n64 emulator but

Try to download a different Pokemon Stadium 2 ROM to be sure the ROM isn't corrupted. Also try a different N64 emulator and see if it plays better in another N64 emulator. Either way you'll know either the ROM is good or if the emulator is faulty.

How do transfer packs work? Will it work on a nintendo DS?

A Game Pack is the game cartridge you insert to play a game. GameBoy Advance Games are not compatable with the Transfer Pak. The Transfer pack and Pokemon Stadium 2 only support the following: Pokemon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver and Crystal versions. No Ruby will not work with the transfer pak as you will not be able to insert it, and the software would not pick it up.

Pokemon stadium, and transfer pak

That is not the problem, I think you turned off the console too quickly, i.e; before it was done saving.

How to save a game in a game pak n64

You dont actually save it to the gamepak (n64 memory card) it gets saved to the n64 cartridge via a transfer pack that plugs into where the memory goes into the controller then you can import your save with pokemon stadium into the n64 gamepack.
