contact sony - hp and they might have to hange some settings.

your not putting the sim that came with phone in the phone. the phone is locked to the sim or network that came with the phone. you need to call the orginal network and ask for an unlacthing code which may cost you and take 28 days. or you can take to mobile shop and they can unlock there and then but if you phone is less than two years old this will invalidate your warrenty

I'm one of the Motorola experts here on FixYa. Although we answer questions from all over the world, mostly I answer questions about Motorola Phones that have been released for North American use.

With that in mind, my Motorola manual does not specifically include the em30 as being supported by Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite v5.0.5 - +Update). However, my manual does list the em35.

This may not mean that the em30 is not supported. Truthfully, I just don't know. You can try v.5.0.5 if you like. If it works, please let me know so I can pass the information along to others who have an em30.
