My dishwasher Model is 665 15891790 and the serie #FG3907905. After programing my dishwasher and pressing the start button, it fills with water, but when it is due to start the sensing light comes on. I have notice that the ring under the watering arm on the bottom of the machine seams to be cracked. Could that be the problem for the machine not starting its' cycle. Thank you.

Why won't my washer start a cycle? Start button LED just flashes. All other lights are steady. Door lock sounds like it engaged, but nothing happens.

There should be a way to enter the washing machine into service mode to view an error code. Check your user manual and then you should have your answer!

My washer machines door is locked wont open. And won't wash the clothes in them

  • Unplug your Maytag washing machine for 30 seconds.

  • Plug your washing machine back in, and after 30 seconds, push the "Pause/Cancel/Stop" button two times. Choose a wash cycle.

  • Press the "Start" button until the wash cycle begins to ensure that the washing machine is functioning properly

I am trying to start a cyle and everytime i push the cycle button it does not light up and the quick rinse button comes on and flashes nothing works at all if i push heavy wash it comes on and nothing...

You haven't told me how many times the light flashes, but I will take a guess that this is an error code associated with the water entering the machine being too cool. I believe the machine expects the water to enter at 110 degrees F (43 Degrees C).

To clear the error, press "Heated Dry" then release, then press "Normal Wash" then release and repeat this sequence until all the lights on the machine go solid green. Once this happens, hit ""Cancel" and the machine will reset.

The fix for the root of the problem is to increase the temperature of the incoming water in future (Turn up your water heater temperature a little)

Can't get washer to start again after pushing pause/cancel button

sounds like central control unit problem, you can check for diagnostic mode operation by setting (door closed) drain/spin, no spin, pressing prewash 4 times in 5 secs pressing prewash again will advance through diagnostic cycle. replacing user interface may also be necessary

Kenmore He4t- pushed cancel to add at start of load, now nothing but flashing lights

The manufacturer recommends unplugging the washer for at least 30 minutes to reset the computer. Sometimes this is all that is required to "cure" momentary "glitches". If this does not fix your problem, please post back and let me know. Hope this helps you.

I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.
