Sleep set the sleep timer and went to bed. Tv went to sleep normal but have not been able to get it to turn on since. Nothing no sound no picture. can you get it out of sleep mode griff

It's possible that the power outage could have affected the TV's settings, including the sleep timer function. Next, check the settings of the sleep timer.
Select on the remote:
Menu.
Timer.
Sleep.
See if there is a time setting in there. You may also find a shortcut from the remote labeled "Sleep".

If this fails to resolve the issue, you can always reset to factory defaults. To do this, select from the remote:
Menu.
Setup.
Reset.

Turn off the sleep timer,make sure not on like 30,60,120 mims.The tv should work normal again.

Depends on how many times it blinks,just count the blinks Example: if it blink 2 times then pauses and blink 5 times then the code would be 25 and so on

I had the same problem and my local repair guy soldered a defective sensor so that it goes around that problem. I also had to buy a new bulb. Now my picture is "cloudy" and the repairman has no idea why. I am waiting for them to call back on it.

Setting the Sleep Timer The sleep timer allows your LCD TV to automatically turn OFF after a given amount of time. You can set the sleep timer using your remote control or through the onscreen display (OSD).
TO SET THE SLEEP TIMER USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
1. Press the SLEEP button on the remote control. The sleep timer appears at
the top of your screen.
