HiOn your home page, bottom right hand side, where it says chat offline...click on this..Next to the search bar there is a wheel click on this and tick where it says available to chat....then click on the close slide bar and your friends on chat will be listed back on your home page.

I am unable to see chat list & unable to chat or text any message in face book.
my dear,
make sure you download the Facebook chat or ebuddy messenger to chat and see people online, that is if you are using a mobile phone,
if it is a PC that's a computer, then you need a Mozilla Firefox application to chat and browse on Facebook ......

I cannot go offline on Facebook chat. Also, even when I close out chats, they reappear EVERYtime i log back on or refresh Facebook-I tried to go offline or change chat settings and it says its unable to...
its very simple just open internet browser and in the menus tab click on work offline and enter the facebook account the chats reappear because ur frnds constantly sends u messages if hes offline the chats bar wont appear was this useful to u pls vote for me if u like it

Online friends in facebook are shown at your homepage on the lefthand side, if you are unable to see check your facebook settings, or install the latest version of Java (from www.java.com) and Flash Player (from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html).
