I was glad to see the question posted, but I am not sure the answer is specific to the question. It says "You need to unsolder the tuner from the board and remove the side cases". The cable/antena connection has fallen out. In my case there is no way around the problem, as I do not have any other connection. Is there a way to reinstall the connector?

It has always amazed me how many "F" connectors get pulled out of tuners. I know because I've replaced hundreds, usually successfully, saving the cost of a new tuner. You need to unsolder the tuner from the board and remove the side cases. If the tuner board is not damaged beyond repair, (if it is you have to get creative), a new unit can be soldered in place. Put everything back together and you will be in buisness. New "F" connectors can be purchased from MCM Electronics at www.mcminone.com, part #215543 for $2.50. I always use a new connector as the old ones are usually trashed. Reliability is compromised if you don't use a new one. Technically you do not need the cable hookup since you have composite inputs. For my money I would just hookup a VCR (with a tuner) coming out of the VCR composite jacks into the TV composite jacks and use the tuner on the VCR leaving the TV in Aux, or whatever they call the composite inputs, and call it a day. It's you're choice but using a VCR tuner is faster, easier, cheaper and if you want to play a VHS tape you're already hooked up! If you are a traditionalist and want the TV 100% remember to be safe while working on it. Good luck whichever way you go.

What do I need to correctly connect/setup my VEON 39" SR09110-B. I have plugged the power cord in and the antenna cord into the rv port on the back of the TV but the TV has no signal. Do I need to do

Your unit may need to know that it must read the antenna signals that are coming from the antenna. The unit might have a set-up feature in the TV's settings function for choosing either a cable (digital) or antenna (analog) signal.

Cannot pull plug from machine

plug is either stuck or factory glitch. Returned mine to store and sales guy pulled a new one from the shelf. After pulling the cord on the new
unit it came out. They say its a 23 inch cord. Try pulling harder. If that doesn't work it may be factory glitch. return to store and make sure a
sales person pulls the cord out for you.

Whipper snipper wont start

when you pull the rope with the plug out do you get any gas coming out of the plug hole? It sounds to me like you have a faulty carburetor that is causing the unit to load up on gas stopping the piston from being able to move all the way with the plug in it

Local channel went digital, lost signal.

You need a digital to analog convertor box to recieve the digital signal.

All UHF+VHF signals will be digital starting in June.

The electricy plug and cord

If The Unit Is Under Warranty There Is A Good Chance You Will Void The Warranty. But If The Unit Isn't Under Warranty I'd Go Ahead And Pull The Real Of The Tv And Repair The Power Cord Just Make Sure Everything Is As It Should Be Before You Put The Tv Back Together And Make Sure There Are No Exposed Wires Anywhere.

Starting problem with a Ryobi rlt30ces petrol strimmer

Hi
I have had the similar problem & spent a day stripping the unit down
(dismantled & re-assembled the carb, seemed OK fuel reaching & flooding the plug) I unscrewed the spark plug from the body, but left it connected to the lead and found that there was intermittent spark when pulling the cord. and tested it with a continuity meter - no signal/measurement. bought a new spark plug, meter reading showed signal/measurement, now starts every time. It may be that Ryobi has been installing rather cheap nasty plugs. So test the plug first by watching the spark when pulling cord, test with a meter, if no continuity, buy new plug....

Check also that little gauze air filter behind the roto choke is not blocked.
this solved it for me.

No image from inputs 1 and 2

i just spoke to a tech guy and his solution worked for us. turn everything off including the dvd player or whatever you have in your video inputs.

pull the tv power cord out from the back for 30 seconds. plug the cord back in. turn on the set for 30 seconds. then turn on your dvd player. you should now see a picture.

we had something funky happen to our cable the day the set starting giving us trouble. pulling the power cord apparently allows the tv to reset.

good luck.

Symphonic 13 inch tv vcr combo

Solution steps:

1. Make sure that the cable is not plugged into the mains receptacle.

2. Open up the unit

3. Inspect the board. Look out for a glass fuse rated about 3A/220V near one corner of the board. It is close to the mechanical ON/OFF switch on the TV. The cable normally plugs into a socket made up of two vertical pins an inch or less from the fuse. Sometimes these are marked with a squiggle (~) or two (~~) to signify that the mains power goes there.

4. If the cable terminator (end of the cable opposite the mains plug) was cleanly pulled out, then well and good. In that case simply plug it back in. If not (i.e. the cable is damaged, then you may have to remove the terminator and solder the cable directly to the board.

5. To pre-empt any further "pullings", make a knot on the cable inside the TV where the cable comes out so that there is some resistance to the pull.

6. Close the unit and enjoy.

Video output not working

it sound to me like you have a broken connection on yourvideo out jack on the main unit becouse you say the lead is fine and the tv screens work with another unit.this can be caused by the plug being pulled out in a wrong angle. ask an audio dealer to chech the solder connections in the unit to see if they are making a connection with the pcb(printed circuit board. hope this helps
