Sony KP53HS30 Stuck in Sleep Stand by

I got up today and my KP53HS30 is stuck in the sleep stand by mode. It keeps flashing the red light on the front and it will not turn on. It was not turned off in sleep mode????

    Unit wont turn on. Stanby red light flashes in a pattern of 3 slow followed by 7 fast flashes.

    clicks when power button pressed then does not come on. then series of 6 fast blinking red light just under the power button.

I don't believe it is stuck in the sleep standby mode, rather it has shutdown with an error. Is there a pattern to the flashing? Does it flash a set number of times?

I pressed the sleep button by accident and the pic and sound went off and the stand by/timer red light started blinking. what does it mean?
Depends on how many times it blinks,just count the blinks Example: if it blink 2 times then pauses and blink 5 times then the code would be 25 and so on

try to press the timer button repeatedly untill u see time 00 is desplayed may be u solve your problem if it is in sleep timer mode and if u managed to rset timer to 00 and the problem persist your tv has a high voltge problem it delay to charge the tube.
