Jacob, what element on the mainboard is the source of these dots? I have the same problem - it is only one dot now, but I think there will be more with time.
Also, the second question is: how do I unscrew the mainboard from benq W600+? I remoced the metal cover, unplugged all the cables, but there's something still not letting the board go.

SOURCE: White vertical line on left side of screen

omg, I just figured out why OUR projector was doing this! There was an adaptor plugged into it that we use to hook it up to cable to watch games/tv shows sometimes...once I unplugged that from the projector the lines dissapeared!

SOURCE: Thin vertical line appears on projector

Hi Martin103

This is a typical BenQ Mp Series problem , and will notice that it will start of intermittently , but later on the white line will appear every single time.

This can only be fixed by replacing the Mainboard of the MP710/720/721

SOURCE: My projector has little white dots that appear on

Take off the front bezel, then remove the screws from the lens, pull the lens out and blow it out with compressed air. Do not touch the mirror or magnifier inside. If this doesn't get all of the blemishes, then you will have to remove the top cover and then the top silver part of the engine and blow it out from the top.

I have nec np200 and there's a lot of dots appeared on the screen. what seems to be a problem

I have 2 NP-200 projectors installed in a school which show white dots on a black background and black dots on a white background. This is caused by the DMD chip losing pixels. Only solution is to replace the chip, I'm researching now if that i an economical solution.

White dots on the screen

Need more info. But initial suspicion is there is a problem with your projector.

Are they stationary and always in the same position? You may have bad pixels.

Are the dots there with no signal going to the projector?

What is connected the the projector? Detail the video path - try all the sources. The dots still there and in the same position on all sources?

It is probably your projector.

If some of your sources are fine - the problem might be from a connected source.

Hope this helps.

Flickering dots on Benq PB6200 projector.

it's not the lamp. if you've replaced the cords and still have the problem, reset the settings to factory default to make sure the resolution matches. if still not ok, there may be an issue with the main board.

Thin vertical line appears on projector

I have found that vertical lines that suddenly appear from projectors are due to poorly connected cables. Sut off your projector and wait for the fan to go off. Then unplug the connectors from the computer to the projector and secure them again, making sure to go all the way. Hope this helps.
