A picture fell down behind my stove and I was cooking chicken nuggets at the time so I just pulled the stove out to grab picture while the stove was still cooking and when I put it back the stove top portion will not work and I get a PF signal when I turn on the stove portion. Another thing is the only way to get the stove to work is to turn on a burner on the stove top portion and then the stove will turn on. I have flipped the breakers and unplug it for an hour. Is there any way to reset the stove.
PF = Power Failure. Sounds like you have a bad electrical connection. With your breaker off, check that the connections from the cord to the range are all good and tight. Next, check the receptacle where the cord plugs in. Remove the cover and check the connections there as well. Examine the power cord also. There could even be a poor connection at the breaker box (at the circuit breaker or the neutral buss bar) but not as likely, as your problem appeared when you moved your range.
There was a power surge and now the clock/timer sounds a constant beep alarm and it flashes P# then constant E1/F1 and won't allow me to reset the clock. How can this be fixed or reset?
