First off let me just start by saying that I am new to this forum and up till now have just been a visitor. I'm having a problem with my polaroid flm-3232 lcd tv and I know this site is loaded with experts and hobbyists. So, here I am.
Here is a brief description of what happened.
Connected laptop to polaroid with vga cables. Then, switched from cable to VGA from input screen. Blue screen appeared with no signal message.
Then closed laptop cover and black screen appeard on polaroid with message in orange letters "not supported".
Grabbed remote tried to switch from vga to cable but polaroid doesn't respond. Manually tried via buttons on side panel still nothing. After battling and panicking for a few minutes I unplugged the polaroid from the wall waited 1 minute plugged it in again and nothing, tv will not turn on. No red light no blue light (dead).
(I unplugged and plugged it in four times) the 1 minute interval which I mentioned and then after 5 minutes 30 minutes and 2 hours. still nothing.
It's like the tv is locked or sleeping I don't know I'm just guessing. That is why I'm here. My wife and I are both flipping especially because a tv is not in our budget right now. I would appreciate anyhelp. thanks in advance.

Hi there!
I work in an electronics store and I've come across this problem before. The only solution that has ever worked for the people who call in or come to see us is pretty simple. You need to unplug your PC from the TV (if you haven't already done so), turn the TV on by using the "channel +" button. Some TV's when turned off at the wall will not turn back on again unless you press the channel + button. Give it a go and see what happens. Let me know if you need more help.
Also, it sounds like your laptop may not have been supported due to the wrong resolution being outputted through your VGA connection. When you get your TV turned on again I'll see if I can help you get them to work together,
Cheers and good luck!
Abby.
