My LG chocolate phone when thru the wash! Yikes!! I dried it out for 2 days. Everything works now, except the microphone seems inconsistent, Sometimes it works, and sometimes I get a message "Your handset does not have a microphone. You must unplug for the microphone to work". What do I do to fix this?
The least you could do is lie to us and say there is a fix! I had the same thing happen to me. I took a shower and when I got out my wife had taken my clothes (phone in pocket) and put them in the wash.
I put mine in the dryer on low heat wrapped in some socks to lessen impact and it seemed to dry it out well except for the mic. I am also told that if you put your phone in a bowl of dry rice, the rice will **** the moisture out so that is next on my list!
If the rice idea doesn't work I am going to see a witch doctor as a last resort then smash my phone with a baseball bat and scream at it.

It was dropped in coffee I was able to dry it out now everything on it works except the microphone for people to hear me.
