Wanted:Owners manual for DP Air gometer exercise bike

Recently picked this up at Church yard sale - No manual. Item has large air wheel and pedals and arm exercise bars. I cannot find manufacturer address or phone Number. Is there someplace to get the manual for adjusting resistance and parts?

There is a museum in Opelika AL dedicated to the history of Diversified Products (home town). The phone # is 334-749-2751. A gentleman who answered the phone was kind enough to let me know DP is not in business and he did not know where to get parts. However, maybe he has a manual in the museum he could copy. I am looking for the plastic part that holds the metal arm on the pedal. Can anyone help me find the part?

    I needed a bushing for my dp, aftet continously searching, I was led to Sears, They had it, butcostly, two small bushings for $32 plus shipping, well worth it, im off and biking, good luck And keep moving.

I called the 800 number for DP in solution 2 and was told that DP filed bankrupcy and I could not get one from them because of the bankrupcy filing.

What are the different resistances on exercise bikes?

There are three main types of resistances, the fan resistance used to provide resistance with air they push as you pedal. The second type is the belt resistance which uses a belt that runs through a brake providing resistance for the exercise bikes. The third type is the magnetic exercise bike which provides resistance which can easily be adjusted while riding the bike.

Ok i got this exercise bike at a yard sale its the stamina R360's and I didn't notice it doesn't contain the petal straps for it i need them for pt at home, tkr so my foot doesn't slide off...

I have an old bike I got at a yard sale. Where should I oil the bike to make sure everything works ok?
You should oil all the gears as well as all the nuts and bolts holding the wheels to make sure that they can turn smoothly when you pedal. I would also recommend you oil the front wheel shaft to make sure that you can smoothly turn the handles.

Most of the time you can find an aftermarket pedal that will fit your bike. The important part is the size of the pedal shaft. Most commonly they are either 9/16" or 1/2".
