There is a drain, usually at the bottom of the refrigerator compartment. Pull out the bottom two drawers and see if there is a drain. It is usually in the very back of the inside compartment. Make sure it is not clogged. Usually, this is the problem.

FRIDGE IS LEAKING LOTS OF WATER UNDER THE CRISPERS

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# GLHT184TJ, is leaking water underneath the crispers. First, make sure the door is closed as well as you are not opening it frequently or for long periods of time. Secondly, make sure all foods and containers are covered. Lastly, make sure that all vegetables have been dried, if you have washed them, before storing them in the crisper drawers. All of the above can cause moisture inside your refrigerator, which can accumulate at the bottom of your refrigerator. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

GE with top freezer has water accumulating in bottom of frig under the crisper drawers.

Remove the food from the freezer , then remove the icemaker , if it has one ( 2 screws ) . Remove the rear freezer panel . Useing a hair dryer , start in the middle of the drain trough , and defrost until you see the drain hole . Keep defrosting the hole ( hot water helps ) until water will go thru . Use a piece of tubing inserted into the hole , and blow thru , to remove any debris accumulated in drain line .Remove any excess ice from trough . Reassemble freezer .

Whirlpool fridge ET1NHMXKT00 water accumulates under the crispers

Hhi, Yes the drain is plugged. remove the floor panel in the freezer and then the rear panel. Locate the drain hole (right side of drain pan) and melt all the ice. there is an after market drain heater kit that you will need to buy and add to the defrost heater.
It is a design problem. Part# 819043
I hope this helps you. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Water in bottom of fridge and in crisper drawers

the defrost drain in the freezer is clogged with ice.
empty the food from the freezer, and put through a defrost. you might have to help the fridge defrost with a hair dryer. you may also have to remove the rear panel (inside the freezer) or pending on the model to bottom panel of the freezer.. (usually held in by 1/4" hex screws.)
melt all the ice, and be sure that the drain is clear, and it should work.

Water under crispers in my fridge

If the freezer is on top then empty out the freezer and remove the bottom and back liner of the freezer compartment usually phillips screws. In the back you will see the freezer coils along with a defrost element. Below these two items u will see a drip tray that collects water from the coils on defrost cycle, in the center of the pan will be a drain hole that connects to a hose that leads to a pan under the refrigerator.Normally the water is collected there and evaporated. The hole in the tray in the freezer is clogged. Thaw it and clean it until you can pour water in it and it goes to the pan down below. please rate me

Water on the bottom shelf of the Refridgerator

Has the refrigerator got a wet inner back?
Ff this is wet, adjust it until this solid ice 'blobs', bt not encrusted, like in a freezer
The refrigerator may not be cool enough and the natural warm moisture allowed into the cool compartment when the door is open is condensing into fluid before it is cooling sufficiently to suspend the moisture as a vapour. If the cool compartment is cool enough, any warm air admitted ill be chilled before it is allowed to condense, keeping the refridgerator dry.
However, the only drawback is that you will have to monitor it to prevent the build up of excesive ice.
Also, whether the refridgerator is either empty of full willaffe the day to day operation.
Hope this helps.
