Error code F1

I recently did self clean on oven and now the clock keeps flashing F1 and beeping and the cancel button won't work. when I try to hit bake or broil it comes up for just a few seconds then stars beeping and flashing F1 again. I unplugged and replugged it back in but that didn't help either.

Error code F1 is for a defective touch pad or membrane (usually the touch pad). In this case you will need replace touch pad or membrane. It seems that water entered the touch pad during the self cleaning process, remove the touch pad and try to dry it. Good luck !!

My oven is constantly beeping asked so self clean. I just self cleaned 3 days ago when it beeped. Now is is contantly asking to self clean again. How do I stop this?

Oven keeps beeping:
As there is no reprogramming of most control boards try this, disconnect the power and wait 30 seconds and then reconnecting the power.

If it's an "F1" fault code this generally implies an electronic oven control (EOC) failure. Disconnect the power, wait 30 seconds or longer and then reapply power. If "F1" returns upon power-up, replace the electronic oven control.
The oven control can be accessed and replaced from the rear of the control panel.

NOTE:Disconnect the power cord from the power source before removing the panel from behind the console.
If its an F2 ERROR CODE, The F2 error indicates an open circuit in the oven temperature probe.

Your range has a resettable thermostat in series with the oven temperature probe. If this thermostat opens the clock will display F2 and the oven won't heat.
You can reset the thermostat by pushing in the reset button on top of the thermostat.
Some ovens have an alarm that will beep continuously every six seconds to alert you that the oven is still on. Usually, a kitchen timer that you have set will cause the beeping, but occasionally it can be an error with the oven's settings. If it is the kitchen timer, you can simply push the "Kitchen Timer On/Off" button to end the continuous beeping. If that does not stop the beeping, it is probably beeping due to an error. You can turn the continuous beeping off but you may still need to troubleshoot the issue that is causing the beeping noise.

I turned on my self cleaner oven this morning and it started beeping and flashing F1. The only way I could stop it was to push the cancel button which of course turned it off

Good Morning Monica, thank you for your post!

Based off what you have described your Frigidaire range is providing you with an error code of F1 after you started a self-cleaning. The error code "F1" stands for a runaway temperature (overheating). This could be an issue with your RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (Electronic Oven Control). I would recommend performing a reset on your oven and you can do that by disconnecting from your oven for ten minutes. If you continue to have issues with the F1 error code I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and replacement of any electrical components. Hopefully this information has been helpful. -Matt

F1 ERROR

Hi. This (f-1) code represents a failed oven control board. Have this damaged board replaced asap, if possible. It has failed. Possible logic chip set failure.

After a power outage oven will no longer work

F1-E1 - EEPROM Checksum Error - Disconnect power for at least 30 seconds and then reconnect.
Allow at least a minute after power has been restored and if error code reappears, replace control board (clock).
