TV has a greenish tint

Hi, I have a 20 inch RCA,the serial number is F325E0365. Recently it has a greenish tint to it. I also noticed a dark spot on the upper left had corner of the tv. Sometimes the spot goes away, but it always comes back though.

First off are there any speakers close to the tv ?. if so move them secondly your degauss circuit may need servicing.

I am using Kodak Photo Paper and get a distinct greenish tinge. Have recently replaced the yellow cartridge. Why the tinge?

ive been printing photos on my new epson and im noticing the same thing i tired a different brand of paper (the dollar store kind) and there seems to be no greenish tint, im wondering if its actually the kodak paper itself i thought it might be the printer but the blacks on this other paper seem to be dead on. i also tried some hp paper in a 5x7 format insted of 4x6 and i didn't notice the greeny tint so my assumption is its the paper.

I have a 52 inch rca rear projection and has a red tint to it when dark image or picture

I've had this problem with my projection TV recently. I would say your lens/lamp is to blame. It might be time to change it, depends on the last time it was changed, most of the time, the TV will tell you that it needs to be changed, but not always. I think your best bet is the TV lamp.

Green spot on picture

Greenish yellow spot only means one thing. You have a defective lite engine. The only fix is to replace the engine. This part is very
expensive. Average cost $835.00 Part number A-1606-008-A

Greenish yellowish tint on the tv

I have been advised that the color/light engine of the TV fails often and will typically create a green tint on this unit. I have one on order to get a replacement installed. BTW, it is not "user serviceable" and (for me) will require moving the TV to the repair shop for the change-out.
