Well I recommend to use another player, QuickTime is not that good, my recommendation will be an universal player that have most of the codecs to play basically any video format, you can download it HERE. it's totally free! and is highly recommended. Best regards, Luis!

Just installed new motherboard and now receive following message......itunes has detected a problem with your audio configuration. Audio/Video playback may not operate properly. How do I fix this?

Try reinstalling quicktime. Go on control panel uninstall quicktime. Then go to this url:http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html
Download it again. And install it again. Itunes should now work.

If it doesn't, for Video problems: Open QuickTime Player and go to 'Edit' -> 'Preferences' -> 'QuickTime Preferences' -> 'File Types' -- check here to see if the file format of your problem video files is selected.

For Audio problems: Open QuickTime Player and go to 'Edit' -> 'Preferences' -> 'QuickTime Preferences' -> 'Audio' -- Here you will see a Device is needed that will play your sound. Select 'Audio Playback and Recording Devices', If you are having an Audio problem it may be due to having no device or an improper device.

Error 7 keeps coming up when oppening itunes

A number of users have experienced problems updating to the newlyreleased iTunes 8.1.1. Generally, when this issue occurs, installationappears to proceed normally but then delivers the error message “Theinstaller encounted errors before iTunes could be configured. Yoursystem has not been modified. To retry these operations at a later timeplease return to the installer again. Click Finish to exit installer.”Fix
This problem can often be fixed by reinstalling the latest version of QuickTime via the following steps:
  1. Download the latest edition of QuickTime for Windows (make sure to pick the option without iTunes)
  2. Choose to save the file to your disk, then double-click the .exe file and install QuickTime
  3. After QuickTime is successfully installed, download iTunes again, choosing to save the file. Double-click the iTunes installer .exe and proceed with installation.

Export controller has stopped working (vista 32 bit)

Deinstall it. If you got this with iTunes 9 deinstall that as well and go back to the previous versions which can be found on the Apple website under support. I got rid of both of them and reinstalled iTunes 8.2.1 with quicktime and all of the various programs that were giving me "stopped working" messages all started functioning properly again.

After install get problems closing internet

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

Problem with QuickTime

Uninstall Quicktime I've tried following the steps here, but I can't seem to uninstall my version of Quicktime. I have a quicktime folder in my program files, but it doesn't appear in my "add/delete programs" screen accessed through the control panel. I also can't simply delete the entire quicktime file as one of the files gives me the "access denied" error and won't let me delete it.

So how do I get rid of this Quicktime program so I can try reinstalling itunes?

OR TRY THIS
You can download the stand alone Quicktime Player installer at:

Macromedia projector has stopped

You might try reinstalling Macromedia Projector (now Adobe Flash).

Sometimes if you use compatibility mode to run the game:
  • Click - Start, Programs, Accessories, Program Compatibility Wizard.
  • Follow the prompts to set up the compatibility mode.
  • Use Windows 98 compatibility, and disable visual themes.
Also you could change Apple Quicktime to run video in Safemode:
Quicktime Player > Edit > Quicktime Preferences > Advanced > and under Video Change from DirectX to Safe Mode (GDI)

You may need to reinstall Quicktime, but uninstall the old version first.
