Remove the imaging unit from the copier. Unscrew the sides. Remove the old drum. Replace with the new one. Clean the blade and everything of imaging unit including the waste or recycle part.

Ok, it's been a while but here's what I remember. If your talking about default black and white COPYING, try the following. First set the machine to make B&W copies, then hit utility and go to user mode, touch current settings, then OK. B&W should now be the default.

Reset error m2 in konica minolta 164

Replace the drum and developer first. Resetting counters with out replacing parts is not good. The machine works on base on counter info you reset counters then not replace parts the copier will adjust voltages on certain items when in fact they are same items image problems and codes.

Please wait message on bizhub 164 machine at startup

When is the last time the drum and developer where replaced? Machine is waiting for certain issue to be conducted internally. so the machine giving you this message. Also check to make sure that the developer unit or drum cartridge is cleaned.
